# Phone and tablet recording

> Ask for a demo at phone or tablet size.

> "Make a demo of the checkout on a phone."

> "Record it on a tablet."

Demoman records the app in a phone or tablet window, so the video shows what
a person on that device sees.

* **A phone shows a different page.** Menus fold away and layouts change.
  The agent looks at the phone version of the page before it plans the
  steps, so it does not reach for a button the phone does not have.
* **It comes out portrait.** A phone demo is a tall video. Ask for 9:16 to
  be sure.
* **There is no hover on a phone.** The agent taps instead.
