# Prompts

> Prompts that make good demo videos.

Name the flow, and give the app's address. Your agent does the rest.

> "Make a demo of demoman.io/sample: filter the invoices, then create a new invoice for Acme."

> "Record the new checkout on localhost:3000, from the cart to the receipt."

For an app you are building, the agent can read your code and pick the flow
itself.

> "Make a demo of the feature we just built."

## Ask for a format

An MP4 the shape of your screen is the default. Ask for 16:9 or 9:16 if you want a fixed shape.

> "Make it 9:16, for a phone feed."

> "Export it as a GIF."

> "Give me a still of each step."

Sizes, GIFs and stills are covered in [Export](https://demoman.io/docs/guides/export.md).

## Ask for a phone

> "Record it on a phone."

A phone shows a different page, so the agent records the phone version of your
app. See [Phone and tablet recording](https://demoman.io/docs/guides/phone-and-tablet.md).

## Ask for a look

> "Use my Acme brand kit."

Brand kits are made in the [Studio](https://demoman.io/docs/studio/editing.md).

## If the app needs a login

Say nothing special. If the app asks for a sign-in, the agent tells you what
to do. See [Authentication](https://demoman.io/docs/guides/authentication.md).

## After the take

> "Open it in the Studio."

The Studio is where you trim a take, change its look, and export it again.
