When your agent opens a pull request that changes something a user would see, it can record that change and put the video in the description. With Attach, a pull request without a video gets one line instead: No demo: and why. With Ask, the agent offers only when there is a change to see, and adds nothing to a pull request without a video.

Off, Ask or Attach

Set your default in the Studio, under Settings → Pull requests. To set it for one repository, commit a .demoman/config.json:
The repository’s file wins over your default.

What it needs

The GitHub CLI, gh 2.99.0 or later, signed in. The video is posted as your gh account, and anyone who can see the pull request can see it. On a pull request that is not yours, the agent adds it as a comment instead. Without a usable gh (missing, older than 2.99.0, or signed out), or for a repository that is not on github.com, the agent saves a video under 10 MB and tells you where, for you to drag into the pull request.
